On a day when Roger Federer lost in 5 sets to Kevin Andersen after being 2 sets up and with a match point, it was topped by Nadal and Del Porto going the distance in a blistering match
I caught myself flicking back and forth during the England game.
Andy Murray described the 5th set as the best set he has ever seen. Can't argue with that

It was a great day's tennis. Couldn't see the Federer result coming half way through. Anderson had never won a set against him before and Federer was 2 sets up having not lost a set in the tournament and having barely faced a break point.
Djokovic v Nadal should be a cracker-the toss of a coin.I think Djokovic is just coming back to form at the right time and has an overall better record on grass though. The other semi will be an ace fest.
I'm hoping Ostapenko wins tomorrow-ATR tipped her up each way pre-tournament at 50/1.

I caught the end of Kerber's match with Darya Kasatkina. I've not seen a player like Kasatkina for a long time with such a variety of shots.
She was a joy to watch and just silly errors at vital stages cost her the match. She is only 19 and I fully expect her to be world number by the time she is 21.
Ostapenko will provide a different test for Kerber. Both are very similar in the way they play.
Experience might just sway this Kerber's way but hope Ostapenko wins for you.

Cheers.I caught that match as well, at the end neither of them could hold their serve but it was good to watch. Kasatkina is 21 already but just outside the top 10 I think-will definitely go higher.

Ostapenko started well but has crumbled and looks well out of it now.

Agree on Kasatkina - so much fun to watch. A bit like Radwanska, but with even more variety - great entertainment.
Anderson was stunning yesterday, incredible mental toughness to stay in the moment and I’m gutted federer Nadal was on at the same time as the footy; that’ll go down as one of the best matches that no-one remembers, a bit like when Andy beat Roddick in 2006.
Men’s tournament is tough to call - I’d love to see Anderson do it, although Djokovic and Nadal defend better than Federer.

Bookies have Novak and Rafa as a toss of the coin, as well as the serve slugfest of Isner and Andersen
Novak not back to his supreme best yet and Rafa seems to be on a mission.
Andersen has a better all round game than Isner and might just sneak it.
Nadal v Andersen in the final, for me.

Isner just held his 100th service game in a row and still not broken all tournament. Will be all about the tie breaks this one-think Isner may be a bit fresher.

Good game. Some better tennis than expected. Unbelievable that when one of them breaks serve the other breaks back.

Absorbing stuff. Anderson's best hope is that the next semi is similarly epic...
What an effort to come from match point down v Federer, and 2-1 down v Isner, then holding to stay in the match 20 times. That takes incredible mental strength.
Hope he has the physical strength for the final, don't want another damp squib like last year when Cilic could barely run.

Rafa and Novak are on now, resuming from last night. Novak 2-1 up
Already looking like this set is going to be a cracker. Novak looks almost back to his best

High quality tennis there. Novak is back. Can’t help feeling the fact his wife is in the box and cheering him on again is a factor
