 Euros at EEP - Details
Topic Originator: Wedge
Date:   Sun 7 Apr 18:56

The info and about the fan zone at East End is now up.

https://dunfermlinecityfanzone.com

For me £15 per adult to watch it outside before beer, food etc. is too high. Surely a £10 for a set seat would have been enough to cover costs?

Is sitting in a stand together better than free at home with a few pals?

£15 is way to high. A few beers watching the game in the pub will be much better!

Free travel there and back if you need it, live bands playing before and after, nice vibes with food stalls and the like. £15 seems alright to me but I`d like to see bigger screens than that. Also interested in who the bands will be. Would be good to get Moonlight Zoo along again.

Have they said how big the screens will be? If it`s like a proper fan zone sized screen then that`ll be cool, but the artist impression I seen made them look tiny

I don`t know why folk try to organise things like this, something new, something a bit different. All you get is folk moaning their tits aff.

Our usual seats bought in the Norrie. Looking forward to it. If its crap just won`t go back

Its a great initiative, but the initial pricing, with the expected screen size is high. People are allowed to call that out. You’ll be talking £7 a pint as well no doubt and extortionate food prices. It wont be a cheap day out at East End.

Each to their own 🙂 I`d have preferred if it was on the pitch rather than in the stands as easier to sit with your mates/have a family group. However, it looks decent and I`ll get some tickets for me and the kids.

Notice it's more like £11-12 if you do the 3 match option.

Highly doubt that artists impression is to scale

50 inch screens were being mentioned - that doesn’t sound right ?

We have a Samsung that size.

Mentioned where? The website says "massive LED screens"

That was the chat elsewhere, that`s why I`m skeptical.

I had the good fortune to be in Antwerp when Belguim v Japan was shown at the quayside fanzone last world cup - ultra huge screen, all sponsored by Hyundai, no charge to get in - and the beer was reasonably priced.

Obviously that scenario is not feasible at EEP - however it wouldn`t be unreasonable to give details of the proposed "massive LED screens" IMO.

50" was just someone being daft. Commercial LED screen form outdoor use can be the size of the ones you`d see during the Olympics in Edinburgh to the size of the ones at the side of the main stage at a music festival.

I can confirm that the artists impression a number of people have commented on is NOT drawn to scale.
