Dunfermline Dominate To Become Cup Champions
Dunfermline Athletic played their penultimate home SPFL cinch Championship fixture against Queen`s Park last Saturday, at KDM Group East End Park. The match finished in a 0-0 draw, ending the hopes of the Pars of a Top 4 finish and extending their season through their participation in the Promotion Play-Offs.While unlikely, there is still a possibility that Athletic can finish second bottom of Scotland`s second-tier and find themselves competing to stay in the Championship via the Relegation Play-Offs. March Misery For Scotland
The month of March saw Scotland play two friendly matches in their penultimate training camp prior to Euro 2024 beginning in June. Steve Clarke`s men faced the Netherlands in Amsterdam before a home `Battle of Britain` clash with Northern Ireland at Hampden Park.The first match saw the Tartan Army travel to Holland, to face the country ranked 6th in the FIFA World Rankings. A tough test it would be for Scotland, but one which the nation embraced, which is a sign of the confidence and belief in the national team right now. Read more

Dunfermline Athletic travelled to Greenock Morton at the weekend, on Match-Day 30 in the SPFL cinch Championship for James McPake`s men.On the back of their impressive win against league leaders Dundee United, there was an expectation that the Pars could and should go to Cappielow and pick up 3 points against Dougie Imrie`s men. Bonus ball draw for the European Painting : Dinamo Zagreb
When Dunfermline Athletic were in their halcyon period and consistently appearing in Europe, season after season, much of their talent was home grown.
The draw will take place on Saturday 30th March, emails will be sent out today, Thursday, with your allocated number(s).
Kenny Mclachlan therefore came up with the idea of working with renowned football artist, Paul Town, to assist the new Dunfermline Athletic Youth Academy.
A group of his friends are working with him to see this become reality.

Dunfermline Athletic took on Dundee United, at KDM Group East End Park, on Match-Day 29 of the SPFL cinch Championship, with the final quarter of the campaign underway and every point being a prisoner at this stage of the season.Jim Goodwin`s side are top of the league and are being chased down by Raith Rovers, so they know any slip-ups could see them blow the title and automatic promotion straight back to the Scottish Premiership. Support of the Youth Academy
Since Dunfermline Athletic FC took the decision to have their own academy in 2022, the support for what the academy is trying to achieve from ‘The Friends of Kenny Mclachlan’, facilitated by DAFC.net, has been very much appreciated. Kenny Mclachlan came up with the idea of using the past to help the future via the artwork of celebrated football artist Paul Town. Prints can now be ordered of the two European ties played in Season 1966/67. These are priced, as with all the ‘European Nights’ series by renowned football artist Paul Town, at £50 for the pair.
The limited edition prints are signed by Paul. The prints also contain images of rare memorabilia associated with the games.
