Championship - A Two Horse Race?

I used to like Jim Spence.

Maybe he was thinking about the Premiership?

Jim Spence is deluded. He does not realise Raith Rovers have a thin squad playing well, a few injuries and suspensions and they lose momentum, they have picked up a few yellow cards lately. Pars squad been badly affected with early season injuries and suspension. Come the end of the second quarter I will be surprised if things for second, third and fourth are not a lot tighter than they are now. Dundee United having the best squad will see them top spot holders going into the third quarter.

"Raith Rovers have a thin squad"

Other than centre back, Raith arguably have two quality players for every position! Their bench changed the game when they bear us at EEP. One thing you can`t say about the Rovers is that they have a thin squad.

I agree re their squad but I`m interested to know how their bench changed the game?

Raith named 6 subs last Saturday…..I think its fair to say they have a thin squad

The man has become a total clown. Should go back to big hair and doing his old job rather than throwing nonsense around.

Ep.17 of East End Tales is out now with Andrius Skerla

Tbf to JS, if you look at the league table, it does look like a 2 horse race, but as gegganpar pointed out, we`re only 8 games in. We`re not even a quarter of the way through the season and we`ve a game in hand over both the Arabs and the wee team.

No sensible pundit should be hazarding predictions at this juncture, but perhaps he`s done it precisely to stir up a bit of debate among fans of other clubs.

He`s done it to attract attention like anyone else that`s all. 8 games in like you said, fckn meaningless.

Raith only have three on the bench today for their tie against Montrose.

Due to a sickness bug according to a Rovers` fan on Radio Scotland.

Listening to Radio Scotland just now - they seem to think it`s a two-horse race too. They spoke to a United fan and a Rovers` fan and no other club was mentioned.

Well if you believe P&B Raith are now in the midst of a full blown injury crisis so we`ll see how they "cope"?

After that load of mince at EEP today - maybe Spence is not so far off with his prediction ?

Apart from Dundee Utd, sadly, it`s very difficult to predict the results of the other nine. Partick Thistle beat us and Ayr Utd 3-0. We draw away from home to Dundee Utd. Patrick Thistle lose 3-0 at home to Arbroath. Dundee Utd beat Partick 5-0 away.
