From COWS :-
`DAFC would like to issue a short board update.
Finance Director, Stephen Taylor CA, is stepping down from the board with the club looking to revise the structure of the finance team at the club.
Ongoing commercial growth and the strive to hit financial sustainability places increased focus on this area and with the additional time commitment it is now prudent for the club to scale up financial resourcing.
The board would like to place on record thanks to Stephen for helping to develop better use of accounting practices and technology whilst operating in this position on a voluntary basis.
The board is also delighted that Stephen will remain involved with affiliated fundraising committees including the 1885 Business Club recognising his ongoing passion for the club.

Just looks like he has other business opportunities but still will give time he has to the club👏

What I read into it was that the club will probably be recruiting a full-time accountant/financial officer.

Big thanks to Stephen Taylor, he`s been a great servant to the club for years now 👏
Club seems to be making decisions to professionalise key elements of the club. So it`ll be interesting to see who comes in. Only concern for me is how we are affording highly paid professionals, assuming that`s what will happen. I`m sure the board have it covered though.

The German contingent probably have it covered. Their long term goal is for a sustainable club and having professionals on board will do that I’d imagine.
