Anyone remember him?
Jim McIntyre signed him as an amateur late on in our First Division winning season of 2010/11.
He came from Dundee FC who IIRC had used a dodge to get round their transfer embargo – Hyde signed for Lochee United (I don’t think he ever played for them) which meant he could play as a “Trialist” for the Dees. Then he came to us, played twice (possibly got a medal) then went back to Dundee. I imagine these loopholes have been closed.
Anyway, he appeared on my timeline last night scoring a goal for Yeovil Town who were winning their 9th game in a row, in front of a record crowd for the National League South. Ali Whittle was also playing.
That day at Cappielow seems so long ago – I wonder what happened to those players? (Liam Buchanan is still playing and scoring)
