Strolled that game today. No heroics, kept it clean, simple.
Seemed switched on, strong, fairly quick, could time a tackle well.

Don’t think a cross came in when he was defending. Seemed shy about passing forward first half, this changed second half where he played the longer ball will some success. Looks the part.

Totally strolled it. Few dodgy moments in the first half, but nothing concerning. You can put that down to match fitness maybe.

Good stuff, he’ll have been nervous. Will be interesting to see how he gets on over the next 3 games as we will likely not be as compact with support from others and teams try to play on the break but it’s a good start.
Hopefully he’s a threat in the air in the opponents box too.
