Anyone hoping to judge MF-W`s performance from the highlights will be disappointed. I think we saw him taking one shy and marking at corners but never kicking a ball!
Overall though they were a fair reflection of the game I think. We had some decent moves but couldn`t find that final pass to set up a clear-cut chance. I`m still not sure what happened with the one where Wighton hit the post.

Looks like Wighton played clever feet and deflected the low cross, Wee Eck; unlucky, but the keeper had narrowed the angle well.
I know highlights are no substitute to being at the game but having read the numerous comments from punters yesterday saying we “couldn’t string two passes together” I was quite surprised to see us stringing …….. er …….. two (or more) quite good passes together.

I still have no idea how he was able to get on the end of it and manage to get enough contact on the ball to kick it off the United player given the speed he came charging in at
