Strange silence from all on him, but I thought he had a decent game yesterday and can only get better the more he plays. He was a bit leggy at the end, but also unlucky not to score, the signs are positive. 😀

I thought he was good, a definite upgrade on any of our existing strikers.

Unlucky not to score yesterday. He could be the difference. If only we could defend like last season we`d be fine

Not a strange silence at all - mentioned plenty of times in the match thread.
Looks like a similar style of player to Wighton but with a much bigger physical presence. Hopefully a good addition to the squad and promising signs.

He was really unlucky with two chances. The one where he caught Boruc out would have been spectacular; that definitely wasn`t easy. Angle never favoured him for the header from the corner in the dying seconds, but it was a whisker away. He is an improvement on what we had. I actually think him and the boy Holmes could work well. Holmes looks like he can create space with his movement. Think McCann is needing dropped in all honesty.

Big improvement, he knows how to play the game. holmes could be a good foil for him and even jak when back might work well with him or coming in off the wing. It all points to mccann dropping out and for me that’s the right thing and has been coming for months.
If Ashcroft comes in this week it will make a huge difference.
Slowly the changes are being made to remedy our obv weaknesses…

MOH - Kane - Jakubiak - McCann
Play 4-4-2.
We need goals/more firepower upfront.

McCann and o’hallaron are not known for their crosses into the box, o’hallaran had absolutely zero end product against Arbroath.
But they are the best of a bad bunch with only KRH to come in so
Might be worth a try.
