Huge thanks tonight to the Pars supporters for the magnificent applause and encouragement they gave to those taking part in the half-time exhibition match. The players and their families were buzzing afterwards about the whole experience.
For those who missed the tannoy announcement, the teams were from The Pars Foundation and Fairway Fife, a local charity which helps those living with learning disabilities or autism to live independent lives. The Pars Foundation works with Fairway Fife to deliver a weekly two-hour coaching session aimed at helping participants develop relationships with others and increase their confidence.
This evening`s event was co-ordinated by Graham Ross, DAFC`s Disability Access Officer, as part of the 2024 Week of Action arranged by football clubs all over Europe by CAFE (Centre for Access to Football in Europe), whose aim is to maximise access to football for those living with a physical or mental disability. DAFC and DADSC have an excellent relationship with CAFE, and we have fully supported the initiative for several years - punching well above our weight if truth be told! #TotalAccess
A couple of quick pics from tonight:

He did well. I was on the Main Stand side and couldn`t believe the noise from.fans in the NW. To be fair, the other stands were pretty noisy too - glad we all got something to cheer about on the night!

Pars TV had it on and usually at half time I`d be away and come back for the second half. Was one of the better half time entertainment for a while. Great to see how happy they were of just getting the experience. Great stuff.
c'mon the pars

Was fantastic well done to all including the NW who really got behind them and gave the guys a night the remember. The looks of joy on their faces was priceless.
Particular highlight was the guy doing the Klopp to the NW at the end and the NW cheering every time he lifted his hands.
Just shows what happens if you have the halftime games in front of the NW.

He made a great recovery in the game, 2 goals after the pitch had decided to take him out when clean through earlier on! Great to see this kind of initiative with the half times and gives others a real opportunity to “live the dream” of many Pars fans! Hopefully see more of this in the coming months

It was great to see, well done everyone involved!
The reception from the support was brilliant, with last night`s highlight for me the NW singing the players off the pitch.
