I`ve been in contact with a good supplier friend of mine and she can provide undersoil heating mats ,which is basically undersoil heating .
As fans we could fund the purchase and pay all vat and delivery costs.
The system can be installed at any depth but requires more electricity.
If the club is interested we can push this forward and have a reliable heating system.
Looks like it will be £300 per 15 square metres.
Not sure how much that will cost to cover our pitch but am sure as fans we can cover it with the knowledge we can have every game playable.
Might be too late for the coming season but we can get it in place for season 25/26.

Approx pitch dimensions 105 x70 m = 7350 sq meters
7350/15 x £300 = £147000
Think i`ve got that right.

If you assume the pitch is 75 x 100 mtrs = 7500 sq metres
Based on £300 per 15 square metres means we need 500
500 x £300 = £150,000
That’s a lot of cash
Sorry didn’t see previous post

So all in it could be 200k plus? that’s a great idea assuming these run on fresh air? as I doubt the club could afford that sort of cash to pay a lecy bill that size without killing the playing budget even more
Come on ye pars ⚽️

I am sure a football pitch undersoil heating is different than laying mats like a house. Its pipes that run the full pitch pressurised with hot water. You wouldn`t be able to just lay mats underneath the grass pitch and heat them up with electricity.
Mon the Pars!

Don`t forget the VAT and the returfing could amount to another £200,000 including VAT. You wouldn`t get much change out of half a million for the full package.

How would you suggest the fans raise the £200 K ?
A good number of fans helped out in the dark days of threatened administration and a good number still pay money in every month. In the current climate I don’t think many fans will be willing to throw more money at something to guarantee less than a handful of games are played on the correct Saturday instead of a re arranged date.
I think raising money for players wages would be more important.
If the club thought it was that important i’m sure they would’ve looked at it prior to spending fortunes on a training ground.
IMO it’s a crazy idea

Confused as to why we’d need this?!? We have USH - it seemingly had a fault a couple of months back, but was rectified at the time.

Don`t think the current USH is fit for purpose as still freezes at the stand side.
