Airdrie:
Ayr a 3
Arbroath a 3
Morton h 1
Pars h 0
Raith a 1
Partick a 3
Dundee Utd h 1
QP 3
+ 14 = 53
Their games in hand are Arbroath and Raith.
That is a nasty run-in. 5 out of 8 away, and the 3 home games couldn`t be more difficult.
Morton:
QP h 3
Airdrie a 1
Ayr a 3
Dundee Utd h 1
Arbroath a 3
Raith h 1
ICT a 3
+15 = 52
4 away and 3 home.
Game in hand is v Ayr. Again, 2 of the toughest home games, and QP won`t be easy.
With Airdrie and Morton to play each other and Airdrie to play us, 4th is in our hands.
I don`t fancy Airdrie`s run-in. If they come through that and stay 4th, they will have earned it.

Tbh raith and Dundee United are feeling the pressure and dropping points all over the place, neither in the top 3 form teams over last 5 games.
Airdrie have to be favourites being a point ahead, better goal difference and those games in hand.
If we can beat Arbroath next week we’ll only be looking one way.
If we were to somehow make the playoffs we would certainly go in as the form horse…

There are going to be a lot of `six-pointers` between now and the end of the season.

Predicting anything in the Championship at the moment is largely futile. All results are generally possible and the first goal is massively important.

I love it when we go sell Kevin Nisbet,
He's gonna pay for everyone this season.

It`s just about going out every Saturday to try and win. As wee eck says, they are all six pointers

My dream is that we finish 3rd Rovers 2nd.
We get them in the playoffs.
First match is a 1-1 draw at EEP.
Second game we pump them 4 nil on their stair carpet pitch.
Matty scores the fourth at their end hands over ears.

3rd or 4th, we`ll still have another playoff game to play before Rovers.

Would be interesting if any of you fancied guesstimating Airdrie and Morton`s final points from the info above, then what we need to snatch 4th.

I think we would need to win 4 of last 6 to have a chance.

I just edited the OP and added points predictions. I did it quickly, first impressions so as not to fry my birdbrain.
I get Airdrie finishing on 53 and Morton on 52.
Of course, other teams could go on a run and upset the applecart, but I recon we need 16 pts or 15 and 6 more +goals than Airdrie.
So we can only drop 2 or 3 pts over 6 games in the run-in.
Can we crack that?

One game at a time
Heads down, win the game & move on to the next week.
We can’t know or worry about how the other teams will perform over the run in
I’m looking forward to dealing with Arbroath this Saturday, win & we are still on track

Beat Arbroath and because of the goal difference we will practically be safe from 10th.
First objective completed 👍

Most teams who have been on a good run in this League have then gone on a bad one. Maybe it`s Airdrie`s turn.

We have to work on goal difference. Both Airdrie and Morton are ahead of us in that respect. I reckon 50 points could be the threshold for 4th place, but we could collect more than that.

Yeah, looking at the run in and their remaining games I was thinking Airdrie might pick up 12 points from that, meaning we need to pick up maximum points from most if our games, no real margin for error. It`s a big ask, but you never know
