Once again without a manager, he`s away to Bonnyrigg Rose!

It was Bonnyrigg who replaced Cowden in League 2 two seasons ago and now they`ve pinched their manager! The man in question is Calum Elliot who has left them mid-table in the Lowland League.

All the former SPFL teams in the Lowland League are all I`m the lower half. Not near the bottom but also no where near challenging for the top.
East Stirling went down years ago and will probably never get back up.
Some might say it`s deserved as they all kept going with zero investment, poor crowds and no desire. That maybe true but I miss the wee trips to Cowden and Berwick. Shire Park was another favourite. Not so much Cliftonhill.

At least it wasn`t the death of these teams as so many predicted would happen.

Ep.17 of East End Tales is out now with Andrius Skerla

Many of the teams promoted in their place have improved the league set up honestly. Shame for fans of Berwick, Cowden etc but that`s life.
