I like the Rovers outside our personal rivalry.
Part of me wants to see them win promotion, but I really want to pump them four times next year to make up for this year`s failings.

Given the investment they have and how strong their recruitment has been this year I expect them to be top 4 again.

What I have seen of them this season, I don`t think they will go up. I agree with the post above in that they will struggle next season. No doubt its been a financial gamble for them this season to try and win the league.

On current form you`ve got to fancy Airdrie to progress to play the 11th team in the Premiership in the play-off.

Airdrie are a better team than Raith in my view

The 2 leg play offs don’t always produce the best contenders for promotion - Brechin being the classic case, going from 4th up into the Championship a few seasons ago and having a total meltdown not winning a game.
It’s a toss up in my opinion between Rovers and Airdrie.

Rovers will be in administration soon as the investment dries up.

It’s ok. They can sell more “pies” to fund the massive squad.

No way they can sustain a squad like that on crowds they get. See Kelty for example the money has sure dried up there big time

3rd highest average attendance in the league this season. If we base it purely on crowds (as you suggest) nobody in the championship, other than us or United, should be able to afford a better squad than Rovers?

Kelty are 4 pts off 4th spot with -10 GD.
They could get into the playoffs with a push

If nobody else gets promoted this season, we will have the largest average gate next year - Falkirk will be a close 2nd, but their avg will be knocked by poorer away crowds. We seem to draw larger ones than them from Raith and themself compared to what we both take there.
All that being said, the budget needs to be spent wisely and on the right talent. Also our budget will still be hampered by some players on long term deals and the continued work on the training ground.
