I canny get council tv just now. Need to get some aerials fitted, I recon. Need to stream it on my tablet.
I have a smart tv, but it`s quite old, and I`m buggered if I can figure out how to work it. It`s no really very smart.

It just won`t be on yet Parrot. Go onto STV Player or ITVX after half 6 and it`ll be the first thing you see when you log in.

Thanks guys. I would go out to a pub and watch it but I think it would be too much for young Graeme yet.

Watching Buster v Kid Dynamite by way of a warmup.

Scotland are 9-1 far shorter odds than Busters of 42-1 back in the day.

Buster was my first ever bet, Scotland tonight in a 2 house race is worth a couple of quid.

This is defence v attack. Its only going to result in a German riot. We need to press from the front and support Adams more. As it stands it`s just inviting wave upon wave.

Germany are on a different level.
Losing early goal lifts challenge to mission impossible.

Tactically we set up all wrong and then just played without any belief or passion.

Anyone who isn`t watching the game are the lucky one`s , the usual we give gifts to the opposition !
As for porteuos we all know he is a red card waiting to happen
second half well it looks like the scoreline will be how many the Germans want to score !
Absolutely Gash , when we are up against the big guns we always get found out !
To say I am gutted is an understatement , thought we would get beat but didn`t think as easy as it is just now , men against boys

I think the difference in standard, technical ability etc. Is plain to see. We should be aspiring to achieve those standards. Quite how we can do that is open to debate

Well, we need a big big performance against the Swiss or the goodwill will evaporate. Gilmour should be playing, an actual footballer.

Germany haven`t even got out of first gear, god help us if a team actually decides to try without any help from us lack of concentration. Terrible set up, been a disaster since the disallowed goal against Spain...

Germany are so good. The world is watching and they are now seeing a Scotland we all know. We knew we’d lose but this is truly eye-opening.

Different levels. Not going to lay a glove on them in that form. Porteous back to the daft wee laddie phase from Hibs with the stupid tackles; hope he had matured from that but obviously not.

Damage was done long before the red card, the set up, and mentality was all wrong and made the game attack v defence. Was always on a hiding to nothing

My Answer to the one who knocks is yes Spain are one of the big boys but for us to have 1 good game in 50 years doesn`t count !
What I will say about that Spain game was that we were in their faces from the first whistle and forced them into mistakes and took our chances
Tonight we sat back and allowed wave after wave of German attacks ,
The Germans tonight were good , but we were absolutely shocking only one attempt on goals , And thats because most of the time we were giving the ball away and defending , far too many players did not perform tonight
here`s hoping that is the bad game out the way
But total embarassment tonight , to come away with a 5-1 we were probably lucky

I am old enough to remember the days we would fancy our chances against any team in the world never mind European clubs. It is a reflection of the standard of Scottish football these days when we go out trying to keep the score down.

"Tactically we set up all wrong and then just played without any belief or passion."

So, what specifically should have been different tactically? I haven`t watched much of Scotland recently, but from what I have seen it`s pretty clear that the main weakness is at the back. And tonight, pace looked a real problem in that area as well.

Germany played really well in the first half and Scotland just weren`t good enough to match them when they pressed. The aim was surely to get through the early pressure then gradually come into the game. Being short of pace, I can only see us getting absolutely rinsed on every break if we`d pushed higher up the park and left big spaces in behind early int he game. The aim of trying to be tight then play ourselves into the game when it peters out was not ridiculous. Obviously it didn`t work out as we lost an early goal before it all went wrong in the first half. But that as against an opponent a level above and, critically, an opponent who played very well on the day.

What should have been done differently and how do you think the game would have gone had that happened?

Germany started with no strikers and flooded the midfield.

We played with 3 centre backs who were left marking no one. Their first goal landed to a play on edge of the box completely free.

Would of been better flooding midfield and playing a target as striker, Conway or Mctominay.

I personally think we should ditch 5 at the back, and i thought that during qualifiying, i think we are too narrow, and when we did get the ball we had no options as adams was isolated very badly, i do understand germany are absolutly incredible on their day, but that could`ve not been the horsing it was if we set up diferrently tactically, think we should go 2 up top 10000%, i think shankland should start as if we do get a chance he is more than likely to find the back of the net, now we focus on these last 2 games as we can still qualify, as i think germany may win every group game

The worrying thing is that Hungary may be as good as or even better than Germany if reports are to be believed.

That was absolutely hopeless, we can and should be offering a lot more than that. I`d also get rid of the back 3 for the next game, it has brought us some success but at the moment with injuries we have I don`t think it suits us.

4-2-3-1

Clark

Tierney
Hendry
McKenna
Robertson

Gilmour
McGregor

McGinn
McTominay
Christie

Adams

Tierney should be capable of filling it at right back, he`s likely to play against right footed players that will come infield anyway.

Clarke`s loyalty to players and formations did us in last night. Expecting Ralston to play like Hickey was a joke. He was a disgrace, but was hung out to dry.

It says a lot that the Italian leagues best midfielder is out injured and nobody is that bothered because we know he would barely get any game time.

Look at the 5th goal we had 9 players in our own box all marking nobody, and no one thought to go near Emre Can who was standing all by himself at the edge of the Box. Schoolboy defending from so called international players

Just saw the end of Steve Clarke`s media conference. He was a bit more forthcoming than on Friday night and showed he definitely has a sense of humour.
These conferences immediately after a game, especially after the sort of performance we saw, must be hellish to deal with.

Remember Alex Smiths father ( played for Bournemouth ) saying the worst thing that can happen when you lose is being interviewed immediately after the match. That’s when you are at your most vulnerable and say something you later regret. How many times have we seen/heard that !!!
Different when you win though.
