Gone to Partick Thistle. My local team is looking more like a teamful of ex Pars every day. With Kyle Turner and Lawless there already, he`ll fit in rather well. Still don`t see them getting outright promotion though but as prophesied by James McPake, it looks like our rivals` spending power is greater than our own.

I think you mean Lee Ashcroft. Are we looking for an experienced CB? I doubt it`s a priority.

Aye, right enough Wee Eck. Don`t know where Lee Ashwood fits in but I think he`s a centre half too. No we don`t need a centre half unless we get the same injury list as last year. But could do with a prolific striker all the same but they too seem well out of our pay scales. Just have to nurture them from within. But Ashwood, or is it Ashcroft does weigh in with a goal or two, I believe.

If we insist on playing 3 centre halfโs every game then we are going to need to sign another CB. Canโt afford to have Hamilton or Otoo in there when atm we need Otoo for LB and only have 3 centre mids

That`s why I deliberately forgot his name, anyone who, for any reason turns down a chance to play for the Pars deserves to be anonymous. But Ashcoft, Turner or Lawless aside, hope springs eternal, as they say, and I`m sure we`re all looking forward to a brilliant season at EEP. Nothing like a challenge to bring players on and we have a youngish team with several promising players who might just be up for that challenge.
