This is becoming laughable, Craig Wighton just doesn`t look interested in playing any longer, Rhees Breen i just don`t think is up to the demands required of a Full Time footballer, Chris Kane the biggest joke of all. We sign him on the back of being injured for years, misses half the games we played after we got him end of last season and unbelievably give him another contract.

I don`t know where you get your stats from but, according to Soccerbase, Kane made 15 appearances for SJ last season and 10 for us. He only missed two games during his loan spell. The injury he has at the moment doesn`t seem to be linked to any previous injuries.

I’m not sure I agree that the injury doesn’t seem to be linked to previous injuries. He missed 4 games last season (Inverness, Airdrie, Raith and Dundee Utd), after joining us, with an ankle issue. He got put on a different pre-season programme because of an ankle injury. He then made one sub appearance and was unavailable on Tuesday because of an ankle injury.

It all sounds like one injury/problem to me.

Breen seems to be plagued by hamstring problems?

I stand corrected on the number of games he missed but he played in the final 7 games without interruption, scoring four goals, so there was no indication he was injured at the end of the season.

I assumed his special pre-season programme was linked to the long-term injury he had suffered at St Johnstone which I thought was a knee injury.

Presumably Kane passed a medical with us? Or did it highlight some issues but medical advice was a specialised training regime and a bit of luck he should be okay.

Medicals are not a yes no thing, they are a general risk assessment which will come with scale. There are so many varied assessments from no underlying issues to some underlying issue likely to miss some games to `you`ll get 6 months and he`s done`
