Here`s a thought..
From academy to 18s, reserves to 1st team every team is playing 3-4-2-1 I believe
Could Meggle be insisting that McPake plays a certain formation?
I can`t think of any other reason for him to persist with it in the way he does regardless of who we play or who is fit.
This could be absolute rubbish like most stuff on here đ

Did anyone notice Meggle come down from the stand and spend 15 mins in the dugout during the St Mirren game ?

Whether itâs Meggle or mcpake we are certainly not signing players to play in the formation we are insisting on playing.

the system he used for the last few months at Alloa.
quote from John McLaughlan
"We will work on in and out of possession, finding out the fundamentals of our game and how the first team want to play. We need to look at how James wants us to adapt and then implement that at reserve and under 18 levels.â

Maybe if Mr Meggle is interfering with club selection/formations, we should call him Mr Meddle. It seems that if he is speaking to the manager every Friday he is certainly âmeddlingâ in football activity at the Club. I appreciate we donât know what they signed up to get involved in when they made their investment in the Club.

"But he has stressed that Meggle has never once overstepped the mark and tried to influence his team selections"
"âBut I speak to Thomas most Mondays just to go over the game, which is great.
âNormally on Friday we have a video call: âWhatâs the team on Saturday, what are we looking for in the game?â.
âThomas will say this himself, he has never once said, âyou should play him, you should do this, do thatâ."

If Meggle is hardly there then he canât have a say so in the team/selections.
I donât think McPake would put up with that tbh BUT you can see the frustration in his face which will be about getting players in the team. I heard there is a new boy on the board and all spending is stopped as heâs going through all the books to see what has happened and where money is going⊠puts Cook on a shoogily peg as he was the one spendingđ€·

One win in the last twelve games, finger should be pointed at the manager. Losing tomorrowâŠbye bye?
