It looked to me that one or both the boxes closest to the Cowden end were empty ?
Can anyone confirm this ?

On the contrary! Got to say that hospitality yesterday was pretty full as usual, also got to mention while prices may have risen (like everywhere) the food on offer was far better than it has been in recent years, well done to the catering team….keep up the good work 👍

Except it wasn’t fully utilised as a commercial income as two boxes sat empty for our opening home game of season against one of our main rivals…….

So were two boxes empty after all?
I suspect one was Hatrick Bruce’s box? Was told that all box owners were to pay up front for the boxes and if not filled on a match day, would lose it ?
Not 100% sure about the last bit but do know our long standing sponsor told the club to poke it
Great bit of business from out commercial team ?

… 2 empty,not to my knowledge.
A few well kent faces not there tho …. Huffy pants on apparently.
Also, talk of “super boxes” being formed to attract bigger companies bringing in more revenue for the commercial side of the club, Hopefully reducing the need for the hangers on and their selfish entitlement.

This all adds up to much needed revenue being lost.
More mis management ?

The club were advertising the boxes as available in the build up to the game.
Perhaps Hatrick Bruce have told the club to poke it. I don’t know how involved they’re at board level perhaps they’ve looked at the squad and thought “I’m no paying for that” which they are more than entitled to… I don’t know, it’s all speculation.
My only point is that, if the first team aren’t competitive, the boxes won’t be sold as easily and it’s all indicative of the feeling around the club at the moment.

Not everyone in hospitality gets a box though. It could have been full of people who then go upstairs to the main stand and watch, returning at half time. You need a minimum of 10 for a box?

Is it really a surprise that a football club doesn`t sell out its hospitality boxes when the team is on a bad run?

Hospitality boxes are totally devoid of atmosphere, ain`t in a good viewing position and are an expensive hospitality extra.
