Surprised that there is no usual Championship game on telly tonight, would have thought Ayr v Wee team would have been the choice?

Ayr v Airdrie has already been on and I think they can only cover two home games max per team so probably holding back on next Ayr home game. Contract may not stretch to a game every week.

They have already shown Ayr at home once this season and they will want to keep the other game until later in the season

I think there`s more a tendency to pack games into the later half of the season, it would be interesting if anyone has bothered to check but I`d guess the first 18 match weeks have 6/7 games and then the 2nd half gets the remainder. Helps that the BBC can still keep momentum for their Friday night slots using Scottish cup/challenge cup games at this time of year. They`ve also picked up some league 1 games on alba which they are using for Montrose vs QoTS tomorrow night.
