It was on the Club’s X account yesterday. I’m not a member of the PST. I just shared the tweet.
The link takes you to the full story on COWs.

I think it is more to do with the fact that many a generation had heard about the 60`s and never thought they would see us in a Scottish cup final. The build up in the town was unbelievable and the convoy of buses through to Hampden a sight to see. The atmosphere in The Pars end amazing but unfortunately due to a dodgy refereeing decision it was not the result we had hoped for.
This did lead on to Europe which again we thought we would never see again, but botched up flights and plastic pitch so we had to play in Perth for the home game again never went our way, and the included the worst game ever for many Pars fans.
Little did we know we would be in Europe again and a further two major cup finals, again neither went our way and with the poisonous atmosphere amongst the fans caused by a number of factors lead to fighting amongst Pars fans in and around the stadium at the away leg watched on by a bemused Swedish police.
This period of relative success led to almost the demise of our club. Perhaps another night can be planned in for 3 Cup Finals and an Administration.
