Good on them.
Maybe Mcginn knows what he`s doing?

I suppose it’s just like a cup round for any team - show no fear and just go for it.

You’d think Michael Stewart was a die hard Falkirk fan listening to his commentary on premier sports . You would think he was talking about Madrid

5-2, it`s becoming a rout. Falkirk now at the start of a long downward spiral. I predict a return to division 1.

Watched the game. The Var decision for Celtic`s 2nd goal has me convinced that the whole system is corrupt in favour of the old firm.

Just watched it there. Falkirk very impressive. Looked like a pretty blatant shirt pull from Agyemang to stop the lad closing down McIver for their first goal ?

Probably us seeing as we have 3 games at least against them this season?

I can’t see that result causing Falkirk to falter in the league.
They are going to be very hard to shift from top spot unless they have key injuries and/or suspensions.

One of the most impressive things about their run so far this season has been that they have been without Callumn Morrison, who was outstanding last year, for much of it. It pains me to say it but they may get better.

McGinn has got them well trained and playing well as a winning team. As shown yesterday, they play every match to win. I fully expect them carry on and win the league. Probably quite easily with a few games to spare.
If they can continue unbeaten, it will be an amazing achievement... one that`s right up there.

Think you`re jumping the gun a wee bit there weemike. There`s a long hard Winter campaign to face yet and every team in this league will have a few setbacks.

I think McGlynn will have put himself near the top of the St Johnstone manager shortlist after that performance. I’m sure he would have been in contention but that display will focus a few minds.

I love it when we go sell Kevin Nisbet,
He's gonna pay for everyone this season.

He`s not leaving Falkirk to go to St Johnstone.
He might do if he sees potential in the club. The current owner seems to be talking the talk but not sure how good he`s been so far. If you`re promised a decent budget and time to mold the squad then that might help you turn a blind eye to the low crowds and lack of atmosphere.

The last time they lost a league game was around the time we beat them at EEP.
They may lose a couple this season, but that will be it.
Like it or not. They are winners.
11/8 they are to win the league, ayr 11/4, livi 4/1

They also punted 2 top tier sides in their league cup fixtures - apart from the self inflicted recent disaster at Stenhousemuir they have had a very positive start to 2024/25 coming out of League One undefeated.

Livi at 4/1 is my bet. Especially with there impending European bonus payment.
