Can we please play 442 and get the ball forward at every opportunity, can we at least have a plan at throw ins , we had a throw in on the Queens box and ended up back at our keeper, all players involved in that should get their backside kicked .

I don’t think the formation had anything to do with poor decisions by the players

What about mcpakes decisions yesterday. The only striker in the club scoring goal finished the game on the bench. That alone should be enough to get his P45.

Still nothing to do with the formation.

Sutherland is no going to be the saving grace here. He’s 18 and got 2 goals in 10/11 appearances for Bonnyrigg Rose, 4 goals in 21 senior appearances (including friendly games) for the Pars. Why would you put that pressure on him?

He scores in the reserves on an almost weekly basis something that wighton doesn`t but we bring him on instead. If we have a guy scoring why not bring him on when we are needing a goal ? Not difficult to understand

Why would we put that pressure on him?

Well because he’s a professional football who always looks more likely to score than the current bunch of ‘strikers’ who have had change after chance, week after week and failed to deliver.

Give the lad a chance.

Agree ahoy. We’re sticking with guys who haven’t scored in the league this calendar year and quite frankly never look like scoring and we’re not giving Sutherland a chance.

Sutherland doesn’t need to be the saving grace here, he just needs to be better than what we’ve got out there.

You`ll probably find the sutherland will also draw a blank at this level.

Is it the coaching? I think so.

How can you say that when he never has a chance other strikers have had plenty and have not hit the back of the net so worth a try as wighton and co offer nothing.

Because every other striker hasn`t been able to consistently score.

It`s the set up and coaching

It is worth a try, but the result will be the same.

Or maybe every other striker is league 1 quality at best which has been proven with their attempts at this level we don`t know where Sutherland is at the moment but playing wighton and expecting a different outcome is the exact definition of insanity.

Aye, giving him a chance. Difference between giving him a chance and asking him to save our season…

Still kind of irrelevant to the original point tho…

Doesn’t matter what formation you play, you’ll no stop players making poor decisions.

Brian Graham would struggle in our lineup.

I`m all for giving youth a chance, but he won`t set the league alight.

He won`t do any worse than the square root of f-all which we are getting just now.

There is also the fact that the coaching staff see him against our centre half`s daily and know he isn`t up to it ATM.

Saying that I`m critical of the coaching staff so what do they know lol.

It`s a shame really cos he will get his chance, but it`ll be part of Mcpake getting desperate in 3 or 4 defeats time. And it`s the wrong environment for a youth player.
