What a performance against previously undefeated opposition. Favourites to go straight back up, thanks to the parachute payment, allegedly.....
We`re on a roll........
McPake must stay......
Our German investors must stay.....
Partick will be crapping themselves.......

What a difference the first goal, especially early doors, can make.
I still reckon we should go for McCabe at Airdrie, he`ll be available soon !!!

I do hope that GG is right about the Partick comment. I will be bringing my Thistle supporting buddy to the game and since I had to endure a last minute winner while sitting beside him at Firhill recently I`m very much hoping we will do a number on them and send my pal home to think again. In the very nicest possible way, of course. Another 3 zero would be very acceptable.

Just out of interest, why?? Not saying he wouldn’t be a good appointment but after his recruitment, what makes you think that he would??

Tongue in cheek - some hereabouts have said he`d make a good replacement for McPake - however the league table might suggest otherwise.

Can we get 2 league wins in a row for the first time this season on Saturday. If so we have put ourselves in a better position than it looked on Saturday night.

It`s been a tough start to the second quarter, playing the first and second teams, but we`ve got 3 points which is 3 more than we managed against them in the first quarter. If we win on Saturday we will have already equalled our total points from the first quarter!

Oh come on NMC, a man has to have standards. Chianti, aye - Buckie naw. I tasted it once, on the day my mate, Ross Allan, and I retired, when he brought a bottle into the staffroom. It`s absolutely vile. I couldn`t believe he`d paid £6 for it. I`d rather drink my own p!$$. 😁

I think our very good chums from Grangemouth way will be secretly sending very warm congratulations to our side of the Forth for a result that helps them substantially in their quest for automatic promotion. Maybe GG, "Premiership. There.They. Go," might have been a more apt title. And if we do linger another season, we may have Hearts or Hibs to contend with. Happy days.

Firstly we`ll done to all, did not see this coming,, let`s get the momentum going now. But as always there is a but !
I have long been a fan of kane, strength and skill, also I have long been critical of our forwards, sadly saturday did not change that, 2 from kane 1 from benedictus, zero from the rest. We need others to score, let`s hope this us the boost that they need.

The pragmatist in me would have to side with Andrew283. Falkirk are making the running and have established a clear lead. If they steer clear of major injuries, they have the best chance of winning the league. Strange things happen in football as we know, but they are in pole position and I don`t see Ayr Utd or Livingston being able to topple them.
We have a lot of ground to make up and Andrew`s suggestion that we can get into the promotion playoffs, is our best case scenario. Even that seemed a forlorn hope week or two ago.

Let`s see if we can keep it up, remember the game after the Raith win, we were so utterly pihs but there does appear to be a general improvement, so cmon lads keep up the aggressive attacking play.
