The way the ball rolls on that pitch is awful. Still looks they borrowed it from the fruit and veg stall at the indoor market.

Haha. And that portacabin....is that what had brought in an extra £600,000 in hospitality receipts by December last year?

Aye, portacabin hospitality, definitely not money laundering

How disappointing were Ayr? Has their bubble burst?

Quite happy with that. With the squad we have we should be looking upwards. Good if the league squishes together a bit.

I know I keep going on about it, but that pitch is a disgrace. The ball was just sticking to it. It looks like Smith fell foul of it too. He might play for the wrong team but I hope he`s alright. Looked a sore one.

Quite possibly, they seem to have struggled since Brown talked to St.Johnstone.

Poor game, disappointing to see the wee team pull away from us (momentarily).

At this stage, I`m still optimistic about top 4, so I`m happy to see the current top 4 drop points.

1 good result and performance and we’re talking about top 4?!?

Considering our start I don’t think we should get ahead of ourselves!!

Partick Thistle tomorrow… won’t be easy!

I expect top 4.
You suit yourself.
At this stage, I am happy to see a team 2 points above us take points from a team 12 points above us.

I dont expect a top 4 finish, but it`s definitely doable. I would hope the manager and his players believe it`s achievable otherwise there`s no point in going out on the pitch.....

Not your average Sunday League player.

Raith look a much better team when they have Stanton and Brown playing together.

They certainly do and I must admit to being a fan of Brown’s. He’s my type of Midfielder

was very surprised how poor Ayr were- apart from disallowed goal dont think they had a decent attempt on goal. Ayr’s keeper looked less than convincing.

Boy i work with is an ayr fan and they have had a few injuries to contend with recently with some of their main players on the bench last night just coming back, and anton dowds is out for the season i think, he says they have been poorer but is giving the benefit of the doubt to brown

😂😂🤣🤣

I like your optimistic expectations but I’ll wait and see how the next couple of matches pan out before putting out those kind of expectations. Partick Today and Queens Park next week. We’re 9 points behind QP.

If we get 2 positive results from that we’ll be much better placed to go on a wee run of good form. Falkirk on the 27th Dec could be pivotal for our season

Cheers, shellypar. I knew Dowds was out; I think he may have the dreaded ACL injury. He and Oakley were a formidable pairing earlier in the season.

Maybe, "Expect" was a bit optimistic given our start. Hope for is more like it. Still want to see a team a few points ahead, and catchable, take points of teams that have opened a gap at this stage.
