 Derbies, Derbies, Derbies

For those Pars fans who were at Starks Park yesterday, "derby" is probably the last word they want to hear, but I`ve always found that when I`m particularly scunnered with a Pars performance, taking in a game not involving my team is usually quite therapeutic. There are several opportunities to put the Fife derby to the back of our minds for at least a few hours today by taking in derbies from Glasgow, Manchester and London.

3.30 - *Celtic v Rangers

4.30 - Man City v Man U.

7.00 - Chelsea v Brentford

*I thought league matches between these two were moved to Sunday lunchtimes to prevent fans getting tanked up and causing trouble at the game, so why is it deemed OK to have the League Cup final played at this later time?

Brighton be Crystal Palace on currently too. But that`s more in the realm of us vs Falkirk in that they aren`t in the same region yet a rivalry has been long established.

Might not be directly related to KO time but I`m sure the police won`t be happy about needing to deal with the chaos in the Glasgow city center happening pre KO.

Videos on twitter of “Union bears” in santa hats running away from folk throwing flares and the police going mental with batons…….right down Argyle Street where families are trying to shop……

That occurred to me, too, Chris, but I`d have thought Police Scotland would have had enough clout to scupper any proposed later kick off.

I`m not overly surprised by Dave`s post above. Some fans are complete idiots.
