Just having a look at the teams playing in Europe tonight, pretty amazing to see players like Declan McManus*, Andy Ryan and Joe Thomson up against good quality opposition. Never exactly set the heather alight here, we seem to excel at getting the worst out of people in their time here.
*I guess McManus wasn`t bad, but that might be rose tinted glasses after the last few seasons

Here`s a piece of trivia for you. Did you know that Elvis Costello`s real name was Declan McManus? Picked that up from Pointless a week or so back. Here was me thinking that an ex Par had made it on to Pointless.

Hearts blew it tonight. Even a draw not enough to see them through.

Shocking result for hearts. They are woeful and I fancy them to get relegated this season. Their fans already want the new manager punted.

I`d replace our entire front line with Declan and Andy right now and neither were particularly great here

Had to Wiki him - on loan from Arsenal during 04/05 season and made 5 league appearances, midfielder. Not surprising he isn’t memorable amongst our fans 😂

I vaguely remember him. Seemed like fairly commonplace to get players on loan from decent teams, had quite good relations with Arsenal, supposedly knocking back Ashley Cole, getting David Grondin, Tomas Danilevicius, Stephen Bradley
