 What`s best for McPake?

Surely, if he walks now, he has a better chance of getting another job somewhere sometime.
Relegation would finish him, and the sack wouldn`t be good for him.

Digging in when he knows it is time to leave, with what dignity he has left, can only be a negative in his future prospects.

"After winning promotion at a Canter, there were problems created by a severe injury crisis in my first season in the Championship followed by a lack of funds for the signings the following year, which I just couldn`t overcome." Sound much better than, "The fans demanded my sacking and the board couldn`t argue with the stats and quality of play."

I think, in his own interest, he should resign now.

I’d say his chance for exiting under his own steam and saving face has now gone! If he’d jumped a few months back when it was clear it wasn’t working - he could’ve left and blamed it on the directors/owners, but now that’s gone his stock is decreasing by the match and I’m not sure where he’d get his next job knowing that whoever takes him on will have to sack him and pay out if it goes wrong because he’s too stubborn to leave!

I hope he has to take a long sabbatical from the game, he`s a wretched hanger on at this stage.
If he showed some heart he`d get credit but he`s limping to the end dribbling out garbage to the fans.

I don`t wanna go down like disco.

With family commitments he`s not resigning and neither would the rest of us.

Who is actually running the club at the moment, because it`s a disgraceful neglect of their responsibility to the Football club. Not a peep from anyone.

This was my thoughts parrot.

At his next interview he’ll want to Blame the clubs new owners for him leaving as they wanted to take the club in a different direction.

It might get him in the door at his next club but it won’t take long till he’s found out again.

If they do their due diligence and happen to have a few senior pro’s who played under him previously then he might not even get the chance.

The post below replying to me is by one of .nets finest champions of mediocrity!
