Just signed for York City for an undisclosed fee.
Would have loved to see him back here.
All the best.

Certainly was excellent for us, unfortunately his salary is quite a bit above our level.
York really pushing for it, he`s certainly not going to to be in 5th tier long.

England must be full of amazing centrehalfs. Not trying to sign him was my first realisation the Germans were not interested. If ever someone was going to make you a tidy profit it was him 😔

How do you know we didn`t try?
The reality is we were never going to be in the race to sign him. Plenty of blame to put at the Germans door, but this one is wild.

Top of the National League is no worse really than most of League Two and a higher standard than the Scottish Championship. Malachi didn`t make it at Cardiff so may now be finding his level. He was part of the England under 17 set up, so there may be more potential to be realised but if he didn`t make the breakthrough for one of the weaker teams in the English Championship.....then maybe the tide`s going out.
Let`s hope he now gets regular football and that helps him kick on and make the most of his career
