Be prepared tonight. Idiots already causing bother letting off flares and acting like fannies. Faces covered of course as they`re absolute cowards but what`s new? Mind yourselves if you`re going along tonight. Hopefully the police round them up before they even reach the ground.

What?! Never. Our fans will already be in Legends enjoying a hot cup of cocoa to warm them up before the game.
It`s unfortunately Falkirk fans who seem to be causing the bother so far. They`ve got off at Dunfermline QM. They`ve got form though, can never forget this:

I wonder how many pyros will be in EEP tonight?
I’m not against them as imo they look great. I heard the young team were running away and cowering in gardens from the Falkirk mob….would never happen back in my days at the old Brockvill ground!
But having a 7:30 KO is a bit stupid imo in the Xmas holidays etc. Get stuck into them young team!!!!

It’s 7.45pm ko
Pyros are illegal in our football stadium. The club has priority. Doesn’t matter if you like them or not. They cause delays to ko, damage pitches and the smoke can cause stress and anxiety to asthma sufferers.

It maybe illegal but won’t stop fans doing it and what are the police going to do?
Smoking in the stadium is illegal but you get your puff going into the bogs for a pee…don’t hear anything about this much but I just hold my breath!

Plenty in the Falkirk end disrespectful to the Alex Edwards tribute singing if you hate Dunfermline clap your hands through out it.
Clearly heard on TV and by Alex`s family standing pitch side, total lack of class.

You will never outlaw pyrotechnics, end of the story.
The easiest way to solve the problem would be to make them legal, like several other countries. Have safe areas within stadiums that they are allowed to be used. The problem lies that the fact when people know they are being watched by stewards or the useless Police Scotland constabulary that’s when they get thrown and issues are caused.
Make them legal and there won’t be many issues with them, end of story.

100% this the young lads only continue to do it because it’s the thrill of breaking the law a bit like when your maw would tell you off for banging yer feet when you were wee you’d do it all the more trying to see how far you could push it before she hammered you it’s the exact same with pyro

Idiots are gonna idiot and the way they behaved puts a negative slant on things but it should also be said the majority of Falkirk fans were respectful to the Alex Edward’s tribute and didn’t smash up their seats. We also have a band of idiots who’ll happily act like idiots.
overall that was a great advert for the Scottish championship. No VAR, a jumping atmosphere, two fully committed teams and all the twist and turns. Just a wee look through social media and there’s fans from many clubs saying they enjoyed the watch and complimented the crowd.
What will be difficult is to cut back on the negative stuff - unfortunately 🤷🏻♂️

Our SNW should be applauded. Instead they`re criticised even though they seem to have taken the warnings/criticisms on board.

We were playing our biggest rivals on a Friday night during the Xmas holidays…flares, bevy, young team, folk in pubs from lunch time….they came through and caused trouble..pyros after pyros…but was there any deaths or murders?? No so calm down and all was back to normal today.
I’m sure the club will send an invoice to Falkirk for seats that were destroyed but calm down….move on.

I like pyro in the stadium but also sensible enough to realise that we’d be better addressing the issue like adults.

Alter Ego there with the "nobody died so everything is fine" argument. Colour me shocked. A pyro was thrown at our goalkeeper by the way, and were also being thrown about in residential areas. But hey, nobody was murdered so that`s fine. By the way, the pyro "display" by the Falkirk lot just looked tinpot and added zero to the atmosphere. It`s not like we were taking about the Ali Sami Yen or something.

The "nobody died" people are simply contributing to youth disorder by enabling it by turning a blind eye. Today the owner of the coeliac cafe in town got radially abused by a wee lad, yesterday a guy got attacked by teenagers in the bus station, couple of days before that two lads destroyed the play park at Duloch McDonalds. Nobody died though, so it`s all fine.
The guys who got arrested were all old enough to know better (unless you believe the SNP...) and the adults providing pyros must be thick as mince if they think it`s okay.

The pyro has to go . It adds nothing to the game. Only people it impresses are the hard of thinking. It’s just a matter of time before someone loses an eye or worse. Couldn’t we just get some disco lights ?
Jeezy peeps min 😂
“I don’t like it so nobody should have it” Should have just wrote that and saved yourself some typing time.
Yes yes I know they’re illegal and I know they are hot and someone could get hurt…
I like pyro in the stadium but also sensible enough to realise that we’d be better addressing the issue like adults.
I don’t want people to get hurt because of the use of illegal pyro would be more in line with what I was saying .

It`s a fair point that no one`s died (that we know of) but there have been injuries (including one in Scotland earlier this year).
It`s just not necessary being honest. All the pyros do is create smoke that reduces visibility and delays the game, and damage the stands/pitch. If you`re that impressed by bright lights then stand in front of the traffic lights at Sinclair Gardens.

People have been injured
Pitches have been damaged
Games delayed
Visibility poor for some time
Smoke gets in your lungs and eyes, can`t be good.
Small minority have been asked by the majority to stop doing it.
I got a grip and stand by my previous comment.
