New owners haven’t been signed off by sfa yet
Tidser has agreed and signed subject to payment to kelty
Current owners won’t pay compensation to kelty in case the sale of club doesn’t go through.
So new owners get green light next week, club sold, kelty paid and we have a new management team
……..
All of above I think is logical… my hope is that the new owners have also tapped up a couple of players to sign/loanees

It must be the new owners doing the negotiating on the fee and they think the compo will be reduced in negotiations as tidser now unsettled and wants to come. £20k reduction is a decent players wages for the next 4 months.
What I don’t then get is why sack mcpake when they did if the deal could still fall through? Why commit 2 extra wages to the bill for the next guy if they were not in on it already.
The post below replying to me is by one of .nets finest champions of mediocrity!

Maybe our ceo will come on and explain the thinking, Berkey?
My thoughts are that it wasn’t thought through and he is having to deal with the consequences?
Fail to prepare. Prepare to fail.

If McPake was in charge for tye Falkirk game, what do you think the attendance, performance and atmosphere would have been like?

I love it when we go sell Kevin Nisbet,
He's gonna pay for everyone this season.

My personal opinion is that if the board hadn`t expected a toxic atmosphere, largely aimed at them, for the Falkirk match, McPake would still be managing via the nearest phone box.

I doubt that the CEO had the final decision on sacking McPake. You`d think the club was an autocracy the way some folk go on about him on here.
McPake`s position was probably safe until there was a real prospect of us becoming detached from the group of teams above us. That`s what happened when we lost to Morton.

Yes, it`s clearly not Cook who would have the main say in the hiring and firing.
Mind you, we`ve had plenty of posters suggesting the `Scottish directors` should have gone rogue and sacked McPake earlier, so it`s unsurprising.

So who made the call? The new owners who had not yet been ratified, gmbh who don’t want to spend any more money or the ceo?
I know who my money is on

Aye, a paid employee, employed by the current owners , who are currently in the process of selling the club to new owners - was the main decision maker.

And all this whilst he would have been knee deep sorting out due diligence and legals with any interested takeover parties plus whatever else he has to do in his day job! Some folk on here need to give their heeds a shake.

Tickets sales alone doubled after mcpake was sacked.. we would never have got a draw out of the Falkirk game had mcpake been in the dugout.. just my opinion but we haven`t from from a goal sown 3 times in 1 game for a long long time
