McPake`s recruitment wasn`t as bad as his tactics made it look.

No doubt a fantastic result today and a good fight against Falkirk for a point but this feels like a bit of an over reaction parrot.
If we get beat by Ayr would you then admit mcpakes recruitment was terrible?

If a fight for 8th -9th in the league is the height of our ambition then yeah his recruitment was ideal

I don`t think his recruitment has been flawless but certainly not as bad as has been made out.
We don`t know what goes on behind closed doors, we maybe never will, so I`d kinda reserve judgement without knowing all the facts.

What is without doubt Mcpakes tactics were totally wrong

Plenty think we have decent players, McPake failed to deliver what we have seen in the last 8 days to any level of consistency.

That comment takes nothing of the current situation into consideration. The whole point is that we are where we are because of his style of play not suiting the squad he picked.

McPake would have turned up at Firhill today having spoken about how good Brian Graham is all week. Spent all his time focusing on the opposition.
Today we came to and played to win. Players were left in no doubt.

There clearly was something fundamentally wrong.
Wrongly players
Wrong tactics
Wrong motivation
My view is i am still nervous about the first, but different environment might prove me wrong. But the last two clearly a major issue
well done to the new man and his team.

Just shows what can happen when someone, even in a short space of time, can instill a bit of confidence into a group of players. Even players who we think aren`t up to this level
