Seems the new owners aren`t hinging aboot
We desperately need a good left winger, the amount of play going down mcanns side with absolutely zero end product was criminal and means we rely on KRH having his good game once every two months

Here`s the Courier story -
Dunfermline have been linked with a possible move for former Spurs and Chelsea youngster Jude Soonsup-Bell. The 21-year-old joined Cordoba in Spain at the start of the season but could be allowed to leave on loan in the coming days. It is understood the Pars are aware of the striker and his potential availability because of the new links between the clubs since the takeover of the Fifers earlier this month. New owners James Bord and Evan Sofer both also have a minority stake in Cordoba through their Park Bench investment group.
Soonsup-Bell was a member of the Chelsea youth academy for five years and played regularly for their U/23s at the age of just 16. He made his top-team debut as a starter in the League Cup quarter-final victory over Brentford in December 2021. However, that proved to be his only first-team outing and he subsequently moved across London to join Tottenham in January 2023. When the marksman then left for free to join Cordoba in August last year, Spurs included a 40 per cent sell-on clause.
It remains to be seen whether Dunfermline follow through on a move for the youngster, who has netted once in eight appearances for the Spanish Second Division side. But it is an indication of the ambition of the Championship club. With new head coach Michael Tidser keen to freshen up his squad, the Pars are expected to be busy in the coming days ahead of the transfer window closing on Monday. It is anticipated they could even get a deal over the line in time for Saturday’s Fife derby clash with Raith Rovers.

As opposed to our two older strikers that struggle to string games together, does it matter?

Tidser is certainly trying to tie up loan deals for a couple of centre backs in that age group at the moment

If spurs had a 40% sell on clause they must think he has potential. And if he has potential at that level he should do very well in the Scottish championship!

Interesting option this guy, is he a striker? don’t think theres any pressing need for another striker but I suppose if he’s much better than what we have we’ll take him, you just can’t rely on Kane to consistently play.
He could turn out to be another medube tho but if it’s a loan for 4 months it’s prob worth the gamble.
Agree on comments above, a left winger who can run with the ball and a half decent midfielder are absolute priorities.
The post below replying to me is by one of .nets finest champions of mediocrity!

How competitive is the Spanish 2nd division? In hierarchy it`s the same as the Scottish 1st but imagine the quality/standard of football is higher.
1 goal in 8 doesn`t sound great but hard to tell with that few starts.

Surely the second tier in Spain is well above the Scottish championship in terms of quality lads. You’d think anyway?

Let’s not forget … the analytics stuff these guys are bringing to the table. Probably been tracking all the Cordoba players … and if they/Tidser want us to play a certain way, I would bet on this boy having all the attributes. Just how quick we can put a team together to play that way is another thing of course.

Spanish second division will be a higher level than the Scottish Championship. You’d have thought it would be somewhat comparable to the top of the Scottish premiership outside the old firm 🤷🏻♂️

He’s only had 153 minutes in the games he’s has had for cordoba. And some have only been 8 or 9 minutes. So I don’t think it’s a fair judgement on his 1 goal. Hopefully with some regular starts he can get some form going

Huge jump from the premier U23 league to senior football; mind some of the guys Stubbs and Hartley signed for St Mirren & Falkirk who were of a similar hype/pedigree and were absolutely miles off it.
Bobby Kamwa springs to mind too.
That being said if he moved on with a 40% sell-on they must think he has something about him.

Spurs putting a sell on is purely a business choice, if they do it for every youth player who moves on and one makes it they get money in, the guys who don`t? No harm done, they were getting anything anyway.

I`ve watched a few Spanish second division games due to passively following a team in the division.
The standard is certainly higher than the championship and more closer to the Scottish premiership but with more consistent performing teams. However it is pretty hard to tell as the styles of both leagues are completely different.
I remember watching a player that stood out in one of the games for a lower table team I went to and thinking clubs like hearts/hibs/aberdeen should tap into that kind of market more often, until I checked and he`d signed for 3 million.
Any player in that league should stand out here if they can deal with the style of football here

would guess he would come in as a wide player where he played for Spurs and the goal at Cordoba he seemed to be playing right midfield
any player coming in in those areas is going to need players that can get him the ball mainly from midfield which also needs addressed, problem is there are so many issues with the squad they arent all going to be fixed in a couple of weeks.
