After two tough matches with the new guys getting good experience, I`m looking forward to our next game to see what they have learned.

Nothing will change. We will set up and play exactly as we did today.

McCann, Chalmers and Hamilton will all be passengers at Livi.

Yep!

Plenty decent in the last couple of games

Even if there wasn`t, it`s a case of after every game until the end of season, it`s a quick dust down and then onto the next one.

Tidser said this after the Rovers game, and even if we get beaten next week it`s the same

We have good players who are playing in our squad, and some poor ones/not quite the standard (which is why we are near the bottom the last 2 seasons) we will lose a few, but crucially I`m certain we will win some, and that`s not hope.

When McPake was sacked, it looked very difficult, but a few decent results, and Hamilton losing means we are in a better place.

Said before anything from livi away will be a bonus, we are still not that good. We’re improved the squad size but still short in key areas of the pitch which are easily exposed and still not scoring much in open play. Teams know with the way we now play that a high press will likely yield goals against us.

The next 3 after the livi game will be a real judge for me. We need a minimum of 6 points.

Might even see another player come in before the livi game too.

Did you not see today? Losing goals at set pieces , slow predictable build up play , little goal threat ,nothing has changed

Listening to tidser there won`t be any change in the way we play.

It’s a free hit as no one expects us to take points of Livi - me included. Tidser is looking like he’s in the same mould as McPake. No plan B. Hopefully we can survive and he’s able to build the team he wants to play his style of football effectively - since he’s made it clear he won’t change his style (which seems a little naive at the moment).

Yes

We were playing a Premier league side. Just after playing a very physical top championship side.

I want to see what we have learned from it and how we may have improved after a couple of weeks` training together.
The semi-final game had new young talent jumping off the bus and straight onto the pitch.

Yes I often wonder why managers don`t adapt to get the best out of what they have. McCann wins a lot in the air and is very poor with his feet. If he plays McCann play ball high to him and gets guys running off him. Kane was by far our best player but when he got the ball and looked for an out ball there wasn`t anything other than a 20 yard pass backwards. You could see him getting more and more frustrated with the lack of forward options.

I agree that Tidser today reminded me of mcpake with his questionable starting line up and even more baffling subs.

Cammy you have got to believe that if McCann was reliably decent in the air we would be looking to utilise that with diagonals for him.

Doesn’t look like that’s Tidser philosophy, if we’re going to play out from the back and keep the ball on the deck then under normal circumstances you wouldn’t have McCann in the team and quite a few others.

We just don’t have the right players to play the way Tidser wants and get any sort of consistent results. Unless we get a massive upgrade in the middle of the park and a left back Tidser trusts we might well continue to struggle this season.

I think we need a strong left winger ( in short supply ) to balance the team and we will be fine. I don’t think playing Chalmers today for wanting experience on the park was Tidsers brightest move - but as said before - he will be coming close to knowing his best eleven - and Bene, Chalmers, McCann & Hamilton will feature less as the new blood finds their feet.

Is it **** a free hit. It`s a league game, no free hits at this level and we as a club need to get into a winning mindset rather than being set up for failure. **** this pihs attitude. Livi are pondlife club

The midfield will need to be as big as it can be - (and when we are defending corners and set pieces). Don`t know what height Taylor Clarke is but certainly bigger built than Hamilton. I think Ohalloran might get a start for that reason too, with the lighter, nippier Stevens coming on later. The team below has a decent balance of experience, pace ( in parts) and muscle:

Tobi

Comrie Mullen Bene Ngwenya

Ohalloran Taylor-Clarke Otoo Witherspoon

Kane Yeboah

100%. Connor is the top SPFL scorer and needs minutes. What`s the point of signing young talents if we`re not going to give them a chance?

New signings need to come right in. There`s no better time for them to start.

When he came on against Airdrie, he did instinctively get into positions, missed a sitter which is fine, because he got into the exact correct place, something most others simply can`t do.

I can see Kane being a great help with him, Kane constantly makes space for others, pulls defenders away etc.

I think it`s up to the management to gauge when to play him, he`s jumped 2 leagues also, but yes can definitely see him getting game time.

Going back to the OP , I`m looking forward to the Livi game, we can definitely get something, plenty encouraging signs from the Aberdeen game, if we lose, then it`s like all our other games, quick dust down, try to correct, and onto the next one. It`s a relegation fight and we can scrape wins and stay up.
