Caley playing away at QOS , now only 4 points behind Annan in 3rd bottom and would be joint 3rd top with Kelty if they didn`t lose the 15 point deduction .

Paul Allan has now settled in and is a regular starter, chipping in with goals and assists. When they went into Administration they managed to avoid the mass exodus of experienced players which affected us when we went into Admin.

They beat Annan last week, a crucial “six pointer” result.

Going to be an interesting run down to the end of the season now.

Best of luck to them. It would be a good thing to see them survive the relegation battle and to find a financial footing again

ICT problems continue. They`re now facing a 5-point deduction next season, or maybe even worse.https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c8d4ln325q6o

Stanza, the -5 points next season is a guarantee, that`s part of the original punishment for entering admin.

Seems to me there`s a bit of squabble from previous owners who won`t accept they will need to lose money for the club to survive. They own such a high proportion of the debt they could easily assure one of the bidders that they`d accept a CVA at Xp in the pound and if they followed through on that the 75% would pass.

I think at one point it looked like masterston could prevent a CVA and that was a concern. Once the unpaid rent for EEP was found it was purely on if the administrator for them would accept, which they did cos the deal to purchase the ground from the stadium company required a football club to play in it.

Nobody should ever brag about a team going to wall. Rangers and F*lkirk excepted naturally.

They are one of the few clubs I wouldn`t feel anything about were they to go. The way they were formed ripped the heart from 2 existing clubs. My former brother in law was from the area and I always remember him telling me bout fans that had been going for years and all of a sudden their club was gone. Football is unsustainable up there unless someone is topping up the income (see Ross county).

I wouldn’t say it is unsustainable. I think it depends on cutting the cloth to match the potential business. There are plenty of highland league teams on much lower income streams. But I suspect that is maybe what you meant to say.

Yes,if that scenario occurred,I would never support another club. The memories of 62 years would keep me from supporting another club.It just doesn’t work that way. You don’t have the same emotional feelings, toward another club.I would still watch games, but no way would it be the same loyalty.
