I wasn’t expecting that last night. Fair play to the manage and players. We showed desire, fight and the fans were brilliant last night.

I really like him, not sure if he has mellowed with age but comes across really really well, maybe it was because he is the kind of player/manager you love to hate.
Speak well, comes across really passionate on the touch line, players look like they have a good understanding under him and the new coach too!
Also noticed at the Ayr game his game management was great, he told Tobi to go down injured at one point when he wasn’t just so he could get all the players over and speak to them.

Said before game last night if we can just make it over the line this season and keep our place in the league I genuinely think we can kick on next season. Nervy last 10 last night but the boys fought for everything. Delighted this morning just hope we can follow that up on Saturday. Momentum is everything at this stage of a season.

Davy Martindale comes across as a decent guy in his post match interview. Very honest reflection of the game. Also a good video of a day in the life at Livingston done with open goal.

It`s great to have someone who has a proven track record in the Premiership, that can also clearly fire the players up a bit and there`s scope for him to take us further should we remain safe this season.
He is trying to inject confidence and belief in the players, whilst also seemingly just getting back to the basics of clearing your lines and making the opposition deal with balls down the channels, nothing fancy which is what we require at this point in time.
I`m delighted that the club realised the Tidser experiment was a massive mistake and cut their losses quickly. His style was turgid and his public slander of the existing players that were here already was just as bad (regardless of whether you actually think they`re good enough).
Still a lot of work to be done to get us to safety but I really hope for the first time in what feels like a very long time, that the club can push on now with the investment in the squad and a manager who can handle that pressure of a club that has been underperforming for far too long

As I said on another thread, I never thought I`d see the day when I actually liked Neil Lennon. He comes across a really affable guy with passion for our club. It doesn`t bother me that he probably only took the job due to big bags of swag, he`s clearly not just phoning it in, he`s working his ass off for the club, not just sitting down in the dugout like a shy clueless schoolboy.
Mullen looks great, fancy Dan touches to, pray he stays next season and signs a nice 3 year contract. Same with Toby, even if it`s just a season long loan.
Fabulous goal too.
Any idea of the crowd size?
I believe that if we beat Hamilton that`ll be enough to give us the confidence that we can get more than enough points to stay up (touch wood).
Then next season, new pitch, upgraded squad and a quality manager all adds up to being at the other end of the league when it ends. Atm, we`ll be joined by St Johnstone, Dundee or Killie (or 2 of them) which will make for another tasty title race. It`s just a shame that F*lkirk look nailed on now to go up as I`d rather have them in the same league as ourselves.
