They picked up injuries in the game against Livi. NL`s post-match comments on Saturday suggested Kane had more chance of being fit for the QP match than Chalmers.

Kane got kicked all over the park on Weds, so I wasn`t surprised he was missing, he took several sore ones. We need him for the last games, we`re absolutely toothless without him.

If Kane plays in the last 4 then we stay up, if he doesn’t we’re finishing 10th, it’s as simple as that.
We are as close to a one man team as you can get.

Good thing about our last four games is that they are all a week apart (apart from the last one which is 6 days). Hopefully we can manage Kane inbetween to ensure he can start all of them!

They are all on grass as well aren`t they, if that`s a factor?

The main thing that gives me hope is how utterly awful we`ve been but we`re (1) still right in the mix and (2) getting gradually better under Lennon.
I`m also reassured that the same voices are calling for a wee bit of calm that called for calm when we beat Falkirk to the league two years ago and then stayed up last year. Neither of which would have happened if you believed the chronic pessimists.*
*Not that I blame them this time round.

Was just about to say that eck we all know he struggles to recover after a game on plastic and him getting kicked virtually off the park against Livi combined with how heavy going that pitch at Somerset was it’s really no surprise he missed Saturdays game

No. Two of them are at EEP.
