Our goal was very similar to Hamilton’s last week. The lead up to the goal was extremely scrappy but credit to Clay for working hard in the attacking area. We at least had some clear cut chances but it would be great to finish them more often to make results far more comfortable.

It’s good to hear Yeboah looked a lot better when coming on. I wonder if he’s better suited as an impact sub - like Cooper and can run at tiring defenders in the last 20-30 minutes.

I’ve never been this tense watching Dunfermline. I missed the game yesterday but gave my mates and group near me the fright of their lives when I saw we’d scored! The next few weeks are massive and we need to finally achieve the near impossible task of winning two in a row. Also, fingers crossed Hamilton receive their points deduction! The news on that seems to have went quiet in the last week.

Hamilton are in the West, there`ll be no points deducted.

I don`t wanna go down like disco.

Lennon sounded so confident and upbeat in that interview. He must that rub off on his players, which has to be a big positive.

The previous managers were apparently quite anxious, and that would also have transmitted to the players. I feel a lot more confident that we can stay up now and make significant progress next season, if Lennon stays on.

I’ve never seen this side of Lennon. He seems quite jovial in his interviews. Completely different to his media persona over the years.

If you believe what you read you’d expect him to be drunk, throwing chairs at players and urinating on the stadium!

I`d forgotten how dominant we were in the first half. The QP defence was living quite dangerously then.

Toddy`s corners were a lot better than last week`s!

Typical striker`s goal from Kane, being alert and quick enough to take advantage of the keeper`s parry.

Kudos to McCann for looking up before crossing it in, not a great ball but as we saw against Hamilton it forced the keeper to do something and Kane’s always seems to be in the right position.

Queens looked a bit like us under Tidser, lacked any aggression, not tracking or marking players and just going through the motions, they look a bit doomed unless airdrie save them from bottom.

I really like how well Lennon talks about the club and fans. And the smile he has while he does it. Makes it less of the usual manager cliche interviews. He seems to be enjoying himself here

"Yeah we played lovely".

Well done to our manager and players.

Great work by Clay in the build up. That strength and drive forward has been missing this season.

Yet McPake signed him and wouldn`t play him, then Tidser wouldn`t either. Baffling.

I don`t remember there being any complaints when he was dropped?

There was a lot of mud flung at Lennon, by certain sections of the media, when he was at Celtic. He was a wee ginger chav because he wore a tracksuit. He didn`t help himself with some of his touchline antics, but he was never the kind of easy-to-hate figure he was made out tor be.

Putting all that aside, he`s an experienced manager, who`s played at a high level and commands the respect of his players. Just what we need right now.

I think NL is a good fit for Dunfermline. Hopefully, he feels we are a good fit for him. I have no doubt that in the cauldron of the old firm, the pressure to win is huge. When you are used to winning, there is an expectation you will always win. We don`t have the same level of expectation. I think most Pars fans are level headed In terns of what can realistically be achieved. I don`t know NL, so I have no idea if he is likeable or not. At the end of the day, as a manager, it`s first and foremost about being respected rather than being liked.

On Wanyama, they guy has performed at the top level so he has invaluable experience. What he doesn`t contribute on the park, he will contribute on the training field. If you have been fit in the past, it doesn`t take much to get fit again. I remember seeing George Best playing for Hibs at east end. He was 35, lacked fitness but was still the best player on the park. I wouldn`t write him off.

I think enjoyable football is coming back to east end. I feel a lift in the mood and I like NL`s honesty in his post match assessment. He seems a straight talker so you know where you stand. I also agree with him on his comments regarding hamstring injuries. Something isn`t right.
