Yet another thing that`s crept into our game and needs stopped.
Flicked over to the Lyon/Arsenal women`s game and surprise,surprise 30 minutes on clock and Arsenal goalie goes down "injured" ...her teammates head to the bench for instructions.
Happens in most games I watch either at 30 or 60 minutes 😡
Will our game soon become quarters rather than halves?

there was a spell going back 18 months to 2 years where was found southampton had an "injury" in every game between 60-70 mins in order for other players to go and get energy gel/suppliment etc during the break in play.

I’d like to see us do a bit more of this sort of gamesmanship going forward. That and stealing ten yards for every throw in plus a whole host of other wee things that consistently happen against us but we seem too naive to take advantage of ourselves. We need to be a bit more streetwise.

Its brilliant watching fans complain about other goalies time wasting at 1-0 etc going crazy at the ref, then don’t say a peep when our own keeper does it 😂

To be fair, in recent games Foggerty has been stealing more than that at times….great to see!!
