players are genrally contracted to end of may and recieve a salary for June if still unattached at end of the month. window doesnt open until 12th June i believe.
I know down south the retained lists are to be announced by 17/05 at latest (or 4 days following final fixture for the teams that are in the playoffs)

I`d be happy if they announced the signing of Neill Lennon and let him start to rebuild the team ASAP.

Don’t read much about pre contract deals these days, assume we are talking to clubs about players and will announce now season is over unless they are in playoffs.
Hopefully we striker early to get the quality in.

I expect this season we will be in the market early - last few seasons have been frustrating in that regard.
This season I think we’ll identify targets early and get them in.
Should be an exciting summer.

If NL is confident of being retained he’ll be diligently working on realistic signing targets.
Wait and see what transpires.

We should already be talking to players. Expect us to start signing and announcing in June.

I`d be very surprised if we aren`t, N10Y. The trouble is that many other clubs will be doing the same. Players and their agents are unlikely to jump in and sign the first deal they are offered. It`s much more likely that they will take their time to evaluate the multiple offers on the table that the best players are likely to receive.
Of course, if we are prepared to offer very lucrative deals, agents may advise their clients to sign straight away in case the club removes the offer and turns to new targets.

If Lennon stays on surely potential new players would like to play under him, that should be a factor for us...unless you`re a bluenose or Jambo right enough lol

Could be a factor, Gaz, but not the main one - that`ll almost always be...... £££.
