Joins the club from Dundee United’s Youth Set up.
“The club sees Zeke as a young player with exciting potential, and we’re looking forward to helping him take the next steps in his development within our pathway, whether that’s through involvement with the first team or continuing to build experience as part of our development group.”

Welcome!
No idea if he`s any good but this is pleasing:-
"On the pitch I can play on either wing, I love to drive at players, take them on, create chances, put crosses in the box and get shots away."
Need a few more that can do the same.

Dunfermline Athletic are delighted to welcome young attacking midfielder Zeke Cameron on a 2 year deal.
Zeke joins following a spell at Dundee United, who he joined from Dundee West in 2022. A regular for Dundee Utd B team he found the back of the net in the SPFL Trust Trophy first round match against Buckie Thistle. Latterly he spent time out on loan alongside Jake Sutherland with Cowdenbeath.
Zeke added, “I’m really happy to have joined the club and I can’t wait to get started. I really enjoyed my experience at Cowdenbeath last year, playing men’s football. On the pitch I can play on either wing, I love to drive at players, take them on, create chances, put crosses in the box and get shots away.

The club sees Zeke as a young player with exciting potential, and we’re looking forward to helping him take the next steps in his development within our pathway, whether that’s through involvement with the first team or continuing to build experience as part of our development group.
c'mon the pars

with the changes to the u18s and reserve league to a new u19 league with overage players, wonder if you might see a couple more signings like this.
good luck to him.

If he`s good enough, he`s old enough. Sounds like a good prospect to me.

Don’t know anything about him beyond what is written on COWS. Hopefully he is useful to the first team in some capacity.

Pleased with this signing, having mentioned him on the Jake Sutherland thread a couple of months back as a player who had impressed me playing for Cowdenbeath. In the game I saw, he certainly delivered on the things mentioned in the COWS article - driving forward, taking on defenders, getting crosses and shots in - and good left wingers are like hen’s teeth, so possibly a decent fee down the line too if he develops.
Like many of our current squad - C Young/Bray/Tods/Sutherlands/S Young, as well as the “last chance saloon” guys like Cooper/Todd/KRH/Fisher et al - he is obviously yet to prove himself in what is always a very physical Championship. The League Cup group games and early league fixtures will give NL the opportunity to see which of the aforementioned are up to his standard and which will leave on loan in September, presumably to be replaced by some more experienced players who are in a similar position at Premiership clubs.

According to the Courier other clubs were interested but NL`s involvement swung things our way.

wonder how much of this is "stats" signing or if he caught the eye when our scouting team were out watching Sutherland. always good to get an exciting young prospect join up

Can’t have been surprised at this guy, he’s not played a game yet. Maybe surprised at Docherty, Gallagher and Moult.
Really hope we have some decent signings in the pipeline. RC and St Johnstone are signing proper premier league quality players while we’ve brought in 2 players from league 1 and a player who was on loan at Cowdenbeath in the lowland league.

St Johnstone have signed 3 players who were all pretty average in the championship last season, how exactly are they "proper premier quality players"? They are also linked with Stanton and Tumilty, again decent players at this level but definitely not "proper premier quality players". More bed wetting on here, it`s the first day of pre season ffs

Genuinely think Stanton over the last few seasons has arguably been one of the better players I`m the league.
A lot of unnoticed work but vital to the team

With a wage bill of maybe £850k last season (?) and we still managed to make £1m loss, then of course we`re not going to be going out and spending on the biggest names !! We need a few Zeke`s on low salaries. Maybe NL can make him a decent first team player. He has to, at least, be a decent back up - not there to be just making up the numbers !!
