I remember the fallout from that, Stanza. Many of us took great delight in singing a very non PC song when the Pars played West Ham in a pre-season friendly at EEP.

I mind the hoohah raised at the time - thinking that they`ll never prove innocence or guilt one way or another.
It was more likely a conspiracy by expat Jocks - or displaced former Nazis of ODESSA living in South America seeking revenege for 1966 !!!

i stayed in that Teqendama hotel many times and the lady in that jewellery shop told me . a young star player did ot and as moore was endinh his he took the rap for the kid - its a military protected hotel yet still not the safest
