 Crowds

We had a healthy 2500+ last night. Top attendance of the evening. Great to see the backing, and can certainly look forward to a few bigger crowds in the coming weeks.

Better attendance than I was expecting definitely. Think Motherwell-Morton was bigger last night though

For some reason we have never turned out for group stage games until this season. I enjoyed it albeit we are a work in progress. Still withering over a season ticket though.

We played Forfar on a Tuesday night last year in the same competition and the crowd was 1400 I believe

Lots of families on holidays too remember but pay as you go is always the overriding reason for low pre season games.
Think 2500 was very decent tbh

Didn’t really make my point clearly AAPS. I thought the crowd was very decent as traditionally we have been less than 1500 for group stage games. There was a definite feeling of positivity in the air last night which hasn’t been there for a while.

No worries mate. I do agree with you these group games don’t normally get much of a crowd.
Only £1 for under 12’s will have helped too but you’re right, having an air of positivity is key.
I felt confident of a win last night which hadn’t been the case in quite some time.
