They don`t want an old style goalie, that just keeps the ball out of the net. They want a new style, ball playing goalie that can play outfield football.

I always find it bizarre that wheras a goalkeeper is a professional player, so many of then can`t manage a simple password. It`s not that hard to kick a ball 15yards straight. Bizarre.

Donnarumma is a strange one. He`s an elite goalkeeper, he came into the Milan team at a very early age, he`s won the Euros with Italy and the Champions League with PSG... and yet every time I see him I`m not sure about him. Is he better than Trafford? Yes, 100%. Is he better than Ederson? I`m not sure.

Ederson? Got to disagree there like. Just cos the English media like to make it out that all the best players play there Ederson gets totally overhyped. Cut to a big game and he parries the ball back to opposite player for the equaliser then makes a rash decision to rush out and ends up getting caught in no man’s land for the winner 🤷🏻♂️

I think the difference is Allison is a goalie that can play football, where as Ederson is a footballer that can play in goal.
Donnarumma is a top keeper though and a big upgrade on the likes of Onana.

Still think Man U letting De Gea go was a bum move. One of the best in the league at the time and to replace him with the donkey 😂😂

I’d disagree slightly here tbh. He’s always going to be 1 of the 2 worst “football” players on the pitch. He does have a tendency to put himself into no man’s land which to me is an indication that he doesn’t have the greatest ability to read a situation. He’s good with the ball at his feet for a goalkeeper but that’s it.
