Fife council are donating £178,000 to Kelty for a new astro and improvement to the floodlights , the same amount being donated by SFA.
How are Kelty the only Scottish Football League club that gets this amount of funding ? Incredible.

Given we have not that long ago received significant grants I`m not sure it`s true that it`s just Kelty getting money. Money they have received will be on condition of community use etc.

Nearly all of Rosyth was paid for by FC & SFA grants

Kelty Hearts play at New Central Park, which I`m sure is a Fife Council owned facility. Kelty merely rent it.

Wasn`t it UK Gov grants?

Regardless, as has been mentioned, New Central Park is a Fife Council owned facility, or the pitch certainly is.

It’s a weird set up, council own the ground but the club own the pitche on the park next to it I think. I know this because the community club cuts the grass on the football pitch whereas the council cuts the grass surrounding it and don’t touch the pitch (I had to take my turn cutting the grass when my bairn played for the community club).

Just don`t try and cut the grass at New Central Park or you`ll be in trouble!!!
