Ayr aren`t having a great start to the season. I see they have only 5 players on the bench.

Well, that`s one Cup Derek McInnes can score off his list of potential trophies. The vultures will be circling already.

Ayr fans not happy with the season so for. Words exchanged between fans & dugout at Partick defeat.
“Dom Thomas has been a huge disappointment since facing real opponents.”
Yes - Doms not really up for a fight when the going gets tough.

No Pars game today, so I ambled up to Firhill on a spying mission, for the Thistle/ Ayr game. Several exPars on show, including Ashcroft and Lawless for Partick and Dom Thomas for Ayr. It was strange to see Partick stalwart Stewart Bannigan, playing for Ayr. No sign of Kyle Turner. Think he`s still with Thistle, maybe injured. Thistle`s main striker was Tony Watt. He flattered to deceive a bit by getting into good positions but failing to score. After they squandered several chances, Thistle`s goals came from a looping header from their centre half and a neat finish from Logan Chalmers (ex Ayr and brother of Joe).
Ayr fans would be correct to feel some apprehension. The game was very one-sided and Ayr only showed attacking ambitions in the last 20 minutes, when the game was lost. The man of the match was Thistle`s young, African midfielder, who caught the eye with some incisive runs. Ayr were well off the pace and the Thistle defence were seldom troubled. Bannigan looked off the pace. Pars should not worry too much about either team.

Thought he was!!! Must have picked that up from a misinformed dot netter in the past.🤔
On the other hand, check out his visual features online. Very obvious resemblance to our Joe. Must be his bro.

Kyle got a bad one end of last season. Believe he`s out for another few months
C'mon Ye Pars!
