It’s going to be an interesting tie for us v Ross County next weekend. They’ve not made a good start despite all their signings.

Or will the old saying come home to roost "need a result to save your job? Play Dunfermline".

Somehow we’re sitting 3rd in the league now.

What a strange league, be interesting to see what happens next Saturday as County seem to be struggling too.

Ideally changes in personal are made from last night along with a new face or 2 brought in this week.

Wee bit of encouragement there. Let`s beat Ross Co next week and see where that takes us. I`m not surprised that Ayr utd only drew, they were very poor last week. We`re not top drawer yet but we`re not bottom drawer either.

Apart from St Johnstone and Raith, what other teams are ‘better’ than us?

Certainly not Ross County/Partick/Ayr.

Very little between most of the league and we are certainly in the mix for a top four place especially if we do manage a couple more transfers before the end of the window and/or Kane is able to play

Can’t believe how things have turned out for County. Surely they’ll not stick with Cowie for much longer.

Think losing to us would put the nail in his coffin as manager I reckon.

I just hope they don’t sack him before they play us. I feel they will pick up when he goes. It is pretty much inevitable that he will get his jotters. Especially now Derek Adams is unemployed.

You think they’ll go back in for Derek Adams? Wasn’t it a touch farcical last time he was there?

NMC

Put it this way, when Cowie gets binned I’ll be checking the odds on Adams getting the job. There are ties there between him and the owner. Adam’s dad and Roy McGregor are best pals.
