Ah F**k, I’d hoped they’d have held off a week until we beat them. County will be a stiffer challenge with Cowie gone than they were with him in post. He’d lost the dressing room and many blamed his tactics for the relegation last season and poor start this season.

Why does this always seem to happen at teams just before they are due to play us? Instead of Cris Kane replacing Connor Young, or vice versa, I`d like to see them both start together against Ross County.

I’d start both Kane and Young.
I assume A. Tod will have to rest for 21 days now as he went of due to concussion? Is that not the new rule?

It really is no surprise but I was hoping it was going to come after a defeat at EEP on Saturday.
Cowie is another that falls into the category of “seems a bloody great bloke, but is no football manager”!
Ah return for Derek Adams…he was a disaster last time round, of course he was, but I wouldn’t write it off. He’s McGregor’s go-to man, he’s probably got more promotions on his CV than anyone in Scottish Football (outwith Dick Campbell??) and has been a success previously.
