 The Carling experience

Had the pleasure of going to this yesterday.

Brings hospitality to new level. The box looks great, big tele with Sky Sports. Comfy padded swivel seats now. Fridge full of soft drinks, popcorn, pringles to snack on.

The food was excellent. bowls of Mac and cheese. Wee slider burgers, fish gougons and tattie wedges, rissotto, chicken tikka. Still get your wee steak pies, sausage rolls and mini macaroni pies. Really good food a loads of it.

Much better than the over cooked chicken with veg of the past. Not a fan of Carling but you get used to it afer 3-4 pints. Great interaction pouring your pints at will. The staff were really good, young lad came in chatting and asking for feedback on what could be approved. Think they had issues with the temperature of the beer previously but no issues yesterday.

Big Jim came in for a chat and Andy Tod senior. Both great banter. Margaret and her team were excellent as usual. Margaret is an absolute credit to the club.

The club is moving in a much better direction and you can see the investment and ambition to take us to next level. We are a Premier league club in every way but status. Very impressed and excited by what our new owners are doing.

The catering in hospitality was also first class. I was expecting a carvery but it was a full meal served at the table with lots of extras and the usual pies/sausage rolls/tea/coffee at half-time.

Delighted to hear both reports, fantastic news 👏🏻

Although not a fan of Carling, I would like to do the experience….. need to have friends first I suppose 😂
