On live just now. I am supporting Napoli for obvious reasons. Although I have been suspicious that Serie A is a little short of English Premiership quality. We shall soon find out. Maybe GG will be in a slight dilemma about this one.

Di Lorenzo red card after 21 minutes. Looking like a mountain for Napoli to climb now.

A torpor-inducing 49 mins, Paralex. A definite red card but Di Lorenzo a bit unlucky. He did try to play the ball and just missed it. They`ll have no choice but to stay deep now.
Not your average Sunday League player.

Aaahhh, just on cue, Haland sticks one in. Might be even more of a borefest now. Newcastle games isn`t much better. Makes you look forward to St. Johnstone game even more.

A rare Eddie Howe tactical error screwed Newcastle. They started without a proper striker because Wissa is out for a month and big Nick isn`t fully match fit. Newcastle had 2 very good chances in the first 20 minutes that big Nick would have buried. He got 30 minutes at the end but didn`t get any service. If Howe had started him, they could have been ahead at half time, then he could have taken Nick off and tried to hold on to the lead.
Gashford`s first goal happened because Schar was clearly concussed from a head injury a few minutes before, he should have been subbed immediately. Even though Gashford`s 2nd goal was a peach, Dan Burn passed the ball straight to him instead of hoofing the ball up the pitch or into row z. Both goals were avoidable, and big Dan should be put in the stocks for a few days as punishment for laying the ball off to Gashford.
Newcastle have always been my English team, hopefully we make the play off matches and recieve a favourable draw, as I cant see them finishing in the top 8 due to having a very difficult bunch of CL games and a lack of squad depth.
PSR should be binned. It only benefits the cartel clubs and holds clubs like Newcastle back.

Newcastles defeat last night is made more amusing thanks to their fans 😂 see above.
Di Lorenzo unlucky, and had it been a metre further on in the box, it would have been a penalty, but only a yellow due to double jeopardy rule. If the pens saved, 11v11 could’ve been a different outcome. All ifs buts and maybes mind you.
